Pictures of BIG Texas Stuff

I keep thinking I will sit down and write a post. But whenever I've been in here (my office) for the past week, there has just bee so much stuff sitting around that I get too distracted. Even though there is still all the stuff, at least it's divided & stacked neatly so I can find things. (Yes, I am anal that way).

Anyway, here are a few things that I am enjoying about living here...

Amazing sunsets in wide-open spaces.

Huge bath tub. Not only is it big, it has jets. The bubbles got so big, they fell over the side. (This picture was taken at the end of the bath!) Total luxury.

Actually, I'm not sure how much I like this. My friend is envious of me having large places to shop and easily maneuverable carts. I'm still a little overwhelmed by the huge-ness of an H.E.B. Grocery. And underwhelmed by the taste of the produce. (It looks beautiful, but it doesn't taste that great).

R & J playing with the build-it stuff at the Houston Space Center. They liked the toys. I liked the real(!) NASA space-going vessels. Amazing that humans really have gone into space in what amounts to a really fancey tin can.

  1. Nice list of favorite things! I, too, love my jetted tub, and I know all about the bubbles that spill over. The photo of the boys is great, and your comment on the fancy tin can makes me laugh! Thanks for the reminders of simple things that keep us amused and happy.

Love to you all ~ Jillene

  2. Way to go, girl! Keep it up.....
I agree about the produce; wouldn't it be fabulous if I could have that shopping cart with me down my market street filled with all these delicious yummies that are so abundant here, but with always enough room to maneuver? A girl can dream.....ly deb

  3. I'm with you Deb! Reminds me of a joke. I have to remember it first, then I'll post it on FB.
